The Bridgeport Arts & Cultural Council and City Lights Gallery are proud to present Broken But Beautiful: Youth Beneath Capitalism, an exhibition that explores the emotional cost of dreaming within a world that often asks young people to carry more than they should.

Curated by five Bridgeport youth under the mentorship of curator Akiya McKnight, this powerful exhibition gathers fragments of memory, identity, struggle, hope, and resistance to reveal what it means to grow, create, and imagine a future amid uncertainty.

Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, August 8, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at City Lights Gallery, 265 Golden Hill Avenue in Bridgeport.
